Independent Poets Community is giving poets a chance to win a copy of FIRST GONG each month in 2011 (LOPR Season 2) by entering for the FREE BOOK POETRY CONTEST. FIRST GONG is the the anthology of poems from Season One of Loudthotz Open Poetry Reading.

Winners will receive a copy of the FIRST GONG for free and will be invited to read their work at Loudthotz Open Poetry Reading which holds every 2nd Thursday of each month at #3b Adesoye Street, Mende, Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria. The winning poems will also be published in the anthology for LOPR season 2.
Contest Rules
1. Your email should be titled “FIRST GONG FREE BOOK CONTEST”
2. poems may be on any subject
3. Poems may be of any length, however shorter poems have an advantage
4. Each month’s contest entries closes at 4pm on every Loudthotz Open Poetry Reading day
5. Contest will run every month throughout 2011
