JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Editor to edit product descriptions for an online decor store. Suppliers will supply product descriptions and content writers will adapt these.
THE EDITOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
- Check all written content, SEO and other data entries relating to each product.
- Check all input on the backend and quality control each product on our CMS.
- Manage the photos for each product and communicate with the photoshop department to ensure that all product photos are loaded timeously.
-Prepared to work overtime.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Editing experience.
- MS Word and Excel proficiency.
- Decor product knowledge.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High word/minute type rate.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Previous content writing and/or data management experience.
- Decor product knowledge.
- Interest in Decor.
- Knowledge of FTP, dropbox and Skybird.
- Editorial project management.
