The 2nd Korea-Nigeria Poetry Festival, an annual event designed to commemorate World Poetry Day in Nigeria is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 21st March, 2012.
With the theme INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE, a total of 10 poems will be selected from entries received from Nigerian, Korean and poets of other nationalities who participated in this edition would have their poems performed while they would also receive Plaques and certificates of Honour, branded gifts and other prizes.
The event will hold under the chairmanship of Senator Yusuf Dati Baba-Ahmed, the Pro-Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja with the Ambassador of Korea to Nigeria HE, Jong Hyun Choi and the Honourable Minister of Culture, High Chief Edem Duke as Special Guests of Honour.
Lawyer/Poet, Dike Chukwumerije, the award winning author of 'Revolution Has No Tribe' as the Guest Poet for the year will treat us the audience to the best of performance poetry.
