Freelance editor with experience writing for an African American audience needed. Contributors to Ebony, Jet, Essence, etc. are welcomed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Thorough knowledge of the unique beauty care issues, products, and techniques for ethnic men and women.
- Excellent writing skills, including obvious mastery of grammar and spelling as well the ability to follow strict style guidelines while being creative.
- Professional demeanor, including the ability to take notes and make edits as needed as well as meet deadlines and tight turnaround times.
- Prior experience writing professional marketing copy and/or a 4-year degree in marketing, journalism, English or relevant field.
