SUB EDITOR/ JOURNALIST
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic sub-editor/journalist to join a leading business-to-business publishing house as it embarks on an ambitious new growth path. We need a sub-editor/journalist who is a team player, an excellent problem solver, self-driven and proactive with exceptional language skills. The purpose of the job is to ensure grammatical and spelling accuracy in all Brooke Pattrick Publications. This person must enforce BPP house style and check that all products have all the correct components for production.This person will also have the opportunity to produce quality business writing for our magazines.
REQUIREMENTS:
o minimum period of experience in job content: two years;
o have excellent grammar and spelling skills;
o background in editing and proofing;
o have an eye for detail and be very accurate;
o interested in words and the mechanics of written language;
o be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
o be prepared to work long hours if required;
o passion for publishing;
o have journalistic skills.
