My Mind Words Paper + south africa literature

Starts May 15 | Albert Jack's Writer Workshop at Cape Town Central Library

Dates: see below

Following the successful Cape Town Workshop during Autumn 2011, bestselling author Albert Jack is hosting three new eight week Writer Workshops throughout South Africa between May and July, 2012 in Johannesburg, Kenilworth and Cape Town Central.

Albert has published ten books with Penguin, Harper Collins and Random House, spending over 20 months on the UK Sunday Times and New York Times Bestseller Lists between them.

Currently living in his adopted home city of Cape Town his Writer Workshop will reveal everything a writer should know and welcomes anybody from the practicing amateur to the would-be professional author.

Not everybody can write, but to be equipped with the skills and professional techniques of a full time writer is a big advantage. The Workshop will be working towards presenting strong and well written ideas to professional agents in London and New York and each of the eight modules will concentrate on a particular aspect of writing from finding a solid, saleable idea through to writing a professional presentation.

This is a unique opportunity for any aspiring writer or trainee journalist to learn the tricks of the trade from a leading non-fiction author with over a million worldwide sales to his credit. This is not a correspondence course; Albert will be personally hosting each two hour session. Places are limited to only twenty writers, so please register below as early as possible.
