Working closely with our editorial team, the Blog Editor will help grow our hugely popular blog, by integrating it with our social media and using it drive more print sales, subscriptions, ad sales and awareness of the brand.
OUTCOMES/DUTIES
- Produce compelling and on-trend daily posts about local and international design and décor as well as other online content for the site.
- Adapt content from a variety of sources (including the magazine) to suit internet readers, and that is optimized for search engines.
- Seek new ways to engage and interact with users, including polls, competitions etc
- Provide content across a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter, that appeals to the different people in these networks.
- Plan content around events, marketing campaigns and content in the magazine.
- Source and resize appropriate images for the site (which are labelled and referenced correctly).
- Constant review of online analytics to ensure that we are engaging and growing traffic.
- Provide content for marketing purposes.
- Moderate comments from online readers.
