American Black Festival Film Talent Competition: The 2012 Nickelodeon Writer's Script Review

Deadline: 11 May 2012

The Nickelodeon Writer's Script review is a one day, by invitation only event designed to prepare applicants for submission to the Nickelodeon Writing Program. Writing for television is a rewarding and creative outlet and a lucrative career path that enables writers to continually develop and fine-tune their written skills.

Script review applicants are asked to submit a spec script based on any 1/2-hour comedic television series currently in production and on-air on primetime network or cable by 5pm on Friday, May 11, 2012.

Spec scripts will be reviewed by Nickelodeon Executives and up to five candidates will be selected to participate in one-on-one script reviews at the 16th Annual American Black Film Festival on Friday June 22, 2012.

Selected candidates will have a one-on-one time with Nick Executives, will receive feedback on their scripts during the Script Review, and in addition will then be required to submit to the 2013 Nickelodeon Writing Program.
