We are looking for a person with an excellent understanding of internet and the fmcg / retail industry. The successful applicant must be service orientated and able to communicate at a director level.
Develop editorial content for the site and compile our weekly newsletter, the fmcg Files . Track trends and developments in the retail industry as well as track the performance of retailers. Maintain relationships with retailers, customers and other industry players. Be part of a team that develops and implements an editorial strategy.
The job description includes the following:
· Develop editorial content for the site and compile our weekly newsletter, the fmcg files.
· Building of client relationships is vital coupled with organisational skills and client management
· Represent the company at retail events, product launches and results presentations.
· Write features on topics within retail and brand marketing
· Development and implementation of strategies to increase traffic and the sites registered users.
Requirements
Very strong communication skills are essential for this position and written work has to be of the highest standard. We will only consider applicants who are analytical, detail orientated and have a passion for retail and brandings. A good understanding of technology and the internet is important.
A degree that reflects the above mentioned skills is important.
Advantageous
Knowledge of the online space is essential and an understanding of the retail and branding would be advantageous.
