The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) is seeking skilled writers to edit English-language textbooks on Ethiopian law developed by Ethiopian authors. ABA ROLI has four textbooks in need of editing: constitutional law, intellectual property law, criminal law, and criminal procedure. These books have been reviewed for substantive content and now need editing for clarity and word choice.
Applicants should have experience in writing or editing legal teaching materials, ideally textbooks. Applicants should also be able to work quickly and within deadlines. Knowledge of Ethiopian context preferred but not required. Knowledge of substantive areas of expertise preferred but not required.
