Job requirements
Ensure content across digital platforms (blog and social networking websites) is in line with the brand vision, up-to-date, error-free at all time. Tasks include:
• Planning, sourcing and writing content for the blog
• Sourcing images to accompany blog posts
• Uploading blog content via content management system
• Compiling and managing mailing of e-newsletters
• Uploading regular content from the blog onto social media
• Uploading regular, additional relevant content to social media
• Implementation of social media promotions and campaigns
• Managing online competitions in accordance with CPA requirements
• Ensuring that production deadlines are met
• Ad hoc web jobs as per client requests
Manage brand's presence on digital platforms. Tasks include:
• Engaging in conversation with the audience
• Monitoring posts and taking necessary action should negative mentions occur
• Replying to user queries
• Handling customer service concerns
• Promoting the company and generally creating goodwill across the channels
• Integration of social media into blog
• Identifying and reporting on social media trends
Site measurement includes:
• Measuring the success of social media activities and reporting on the results
• Measuring and reporting blog activity
• Measuring and reporting e-newsletter stats
• Reporting on competitor digital activity
Requirements
- Good English writing, grammar and spelling skills
- Good web, blog and social media knowledge
- Proficiency in using Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels
- Awareness of web and social media trends
- Experience with content management systems
- Basic HTML skills advantageous
- Conversation starter who enjoys interacting with people
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working to a client's brief
- Good time management and the ability to work to deadlines
